The Little Things We Love (Part 1)

I've had this idea for a while, but didn't know how to do it. This blog is the start of a few blogs to come of things that people may not necessarily see about Jemaine and his style. Finding these kind of things takes a good eye, lots of time, and the willingness to look at Jemaine...up close *wink*.

I think my excitement for this may be unexpected. It all started during last years tour when I met Jemaine outside the Riverside Theater in Milwaukee. He was signing my CD cover and I just happened to take a picture of him doing so, then later went back through my photos and found out that he was wearing............................................................................................................

A SEXY BELT!

I don't know WHY this is something that excited me! Maybe it was the fact that it's not something I've notice before on men? Maybe it was because a belt is not an accessory that men pay that much attention to often? I think it was because this was such a SEXY belt and the fact that Jemaine would have an accessory of this nature surprised me!

Here is a photo I captured after meeting Jemaine in Milwaukee on the tour in 2008. He was signing my CD and I just wanted a photo of him doing it for memory, but when I got and looked a little closer there was this belt I had never noticed before. Here is the photo:

I like the fact that this belt is leather and the color of the leather is not normally something you see. I see the color as kind of like a nice wood floor...not too dark and not too light of a color. The etching of the dear head is FABULOUS! Looks like a nice free hand drawing and nicely done. I've seen him wear this belt quite often and it's made an appearance during the North American Tour.

The next belt I have featured may make you quite faint...and MAYBE I like the belt so much because it gets us to look closer at.. *eh hem* his nether...no, his belly!? LOL


(yes, there is someone pointing at his belt. Obviously they were excited too! But, I will not post that person to keep their identity safe...and so that that person does not get mauled by all the women that wish they had gotten that close!)


I can tell this belt is also leather, looks a little older, and has some nice stitching. This is the only good picture I have of the belt; I think that is because it's a little smaller than the other one and harder to see under his longer shirts. I like this belt because of the stitching...I wasn't expecting a horse! I also love the fact that both of these belts features animals and I wonder if it tells a little bit about Jemaine that doesn't seem apparent...that he's an outdoorsy guy? Maybe he is!? But either way, I love seeing the sexy belts! Keep 'em comin' Jemaine!
