Denim...dun dun dun

Just in case you guys don't see my comment from the last blog. I found this blog showing other guy celebrities doing the denim look. I think this further proves my point!

DAMN you look good in denim!

Well, if anyone knows Jemaine Clement then you know he has certain things he LOVES to wear. One of them being denim! I don't think I've seen a man wear so much denim. I'm not just talking jeans here...I'm talking denim shirts, jackets, jeans, whole outfits full of denim. I really feel that no other man can pull this type of look off. When Jemaine wears denim it accentuates his whole body, especially his shoulders. When he wears denim it's like he knows exactly what types of denim to put together as well as different shirts. Here are some great examples of stuff he's worn that's denim. (please forgive me if I don't credit certain pictures. I have so many and I'm not sure where they all come from. If someone sees something that should be credited please let me know!)

Season 1-Flight of the Conchords

The Gray top alone is pretty awesome showing all of Jemaine’s muscles and shoulders. But, with the denim shirt on top of it, Jemaine has this nice layered look going on. It’s simple, but it has Jemaine’s name written all over it. I think in the first season Jemaine kind of liked denim, but as the season went on and then the second season came you could clearly see that he has a slight obsession with this type of clothing.

In this gif you can obviously see how well the denim shirt accentuates Jemaine’s back and shoulders. There is no denying that this man has a great body underneath that denim. I just wanted to post it here because it makes me drool. Nice camera work camera guy *wink*

Jemaine paired his old denim shirt with the copper buttons with the newer vintage looking denim jacket. NO other man could do this, no other.

Now, if you thought Jemaine was just wearing these outfits on the show while playing “Jemaine”, you were wrong. Jemaine loves denim in real life and this past 2009 FotC North American tour was filled with great denim jeans and outfits that were simply de-lish! Here are a two of my favorite looks!

He just HAD to do it! The all denim suit! No one, NO MAN, other than Jemaine could wear this!

The combination of the jeans (not too loose) and the shirt (sleeves rolled up and just the right fit) makes this a perfect outfit!

I love the fact that he's just wearing a v-neck, white, t-shirt and a regular denim shirt/jacket..makes him look approachable and down to earth at the same time.

Jemaine's the Next Fashion Icon

I've created this blog to discuss the wonderful, talented, beautiful, HAWT Jemaine Clement from Flight of the Conchords and his keen fashion sense! (if you don't know who he is then you should look him up, he's hawt...you'll see) Now, I am not a fashionista by any means, but I watch a lot of shows like "What Not to Wear", I work at Lane Bryant, and I feel that I have pretty good fashion sense for my busty body type. The point of this blog is not to discuss ME though! It's to discuss New Zealand's hottest man, Jemaine!!

Jemaine has this thing about what he wears. It's not super put together, it's not high fashion, it's not low fashion (omg no!), and his fashion sense is like no other man on the face of the Earth. I truly believe that Jemaine should be the next male fashion icon and I'm going to use this blog to take him to the top!
